A seasoned Security Expert and Managing Director of Safety Signatures Limited, a Grade ‘A’ Private Security Company in the Commercial Capital of Nigeria, Lagos with branches nationwide, Mrs. Cynthia Gregg has lent her voice and proffered practical Suggestions to the increasing insecurity situation across the Country.
At a Security Summit organized by the Eagle Crime Awareness and Prevention Initiative in partnership with The Association of Retired Police Officers of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, the Managing Director expressed her worries over the geometric rise in insecurity and its resultant effects on the social and economic activities. She called on the Federal Government and its Security forces and Agencies to change the strategies adopted in combating Crime and other Social vices.
The Security Guru suggested a Synergetic Approach and technology driven intelligence and information gathering mechanism, Real time crime reports and analysis and Prompt Response to nip crime in the bud.
She commended the Southwest Governors for the establishment of the Southwest Security Outfit, Amotekun. Though, She frowned at the
non-involvement of the Association of Licensed Private Security Practitioners of Nigeria (ALPSPN) at the initial stage but after series of Consultations between the State Governors and Stakeholders in the Industry, there were high expectations for a better partnership.
During an interview session, she stated that security of lives and Properties is a collective responsible. Speaking further, She stressed the need to engage the Services of Private Guard Companies (PGCs) and the Association of Licensed Private Security Practitioners of Nigeria (ALPSPN), an association She serves as the National Assistant General Secretary.
Gregg outlined the Services Safety Signatures limited offers and the distinguishing features of the Security Company. According to her, the services includes but not limited to Guard Services and Training, Corporate and Social Events Security services, Human Resource management and Outsourcing, Consultancy, Escort and Protocol Duties and K-9 Services.
