The Ogun State Police command has failed to address the general public with the truth of the matter as they have failed in their task to protect the lives and properties of the citizens of Ogun State.
Everytime there is an incidents with the Nigeria Police Force Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) section occurs and leads to the death of a citizen the Nigeria Police Force is quick to react and indict the citizen with crimes not worth killing an innocent citizen just to cover up the murder committed by their membREMOLAhe incident with Tiyamiyu Kazeem is no different.
*DSP ABIMBOLA OYEYEMI PPRO OGUN STATE POLICE COMMAND was quick to respond to the news that officers of the SARS section of the Nigeria Police Force have killed an innocent footballer of Remo Stars Football Club, Remo Ogun State in the name of Tiyamiyu Kazeem known as KAKA*
On the 22nd of February, 2020 at around 10:30 AM Kazeem Tiyamiyu in company of his team mate ( name withheld) stopped at Ita Oba roundabout in Sagamu to buy engine oil for his automobile only for them to be rounded up by the SARS officials in question of their identification which they were identified as footballers of Remo Stars FC, upon identification, their mobile phones was seized, Kazeem was taken into the unofficial vehicle of the officers a Siena space bus and they proceed to the Area Command Police station at the expressway which the players accepted in other to remain before contacting their club officials as Kazeem car was occupied by a SARS official and his teammate.
Getting to the expressway a U-turn was made towards Abeokuta and Kazeem questioned why there were heading to Abeokuta instead of Sagamu and due to his consistent questioning he was thrown out of the bus from the back seat of the driver’s side which left him in the hands of death from a coming vehicle on high speed.
They stopped because one of their officials drove Kazeem’s car and then asked him to take Kazeem to Owode Egba General Hospital. Upon getting to the hospital at 12:30 PM, Officer Niyi Oshinowo who drove Kazeem, who was brought in dead with Kazeem’s car was about to make a run before Kazeem’s teammate held on to him together with the doctor and nurses of the general hospital help in keeping him in custody before the arrival of policemen and Mr Tiyamiyu, Kazeem’s father.
Officer Oshinowo is currently in custody of the Nigeria Police Force one key point of the case the PPRO of Ogun State police Command failed to mention.
DSP Abimbola described the incident as follow “A police inspector attached to zonal intervention squad Obada oko in Abeokuta said to have received an information about the deceased that he always put on military apparels knowing fully well that he is not a military personnel. Based on the information, the inspector went to shagamu and saw the deceased puting on a military cap consequent upon which he got him arrested”
The officers recieved and information, got to Sagamu and never reported or radio the Sagamu Area Command of the deceased in use of Military apparels which he never had.
Droves down from Abeokuta to Sagamu without informing the Sagamu Area Command of the intended arrest, made the arrest and never stopped by at the command to keep in the offender in custody rather they head to Abeokuta a 45 minute drive from Sagamu in an unofficial vehicle a tool used to operate illegally by the members of the Nigeria Police Force.
The Nigeria Police Force have murdered another potential and light of Remoland Ogun State and DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi has come out with total blood sucking lies to cover up a case of murder.
We call on the Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the Inspector General of Police IGP Mohammed Adamu , Governor Dapo Abiodun and Commisioner of Police Ogun State Valentine Ntomchukwu to please investigate this gruesome murder of Tiyamiyu Kazeem as we seek Justic.
