The Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has constituted a Special Committee on Relief and Palliatives as part of measures to cushion the effect of COVID-19 in the State.
The committee has His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gombe and Chairman State Council of Emirs and Chiefs, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, as the Chairman.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi while announced the appointment of the committee, noted that members of the committee would be inaugurated by Governor Inuwa Yahaya on Saturday, May 2, 2020.
