Speaking during the presentation of the food items to the beneficiaries, Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folasade Jaji, said the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration is mindful of the situation in the country, which necessitated the distribution of another round of food items to economically disadvantaged residents.

She told the beneficiaries that the gesture was made possible by the present administration, in collaboration with several private sector donors, to reduce the effect of the pandemic on the people, saying “These materials are not just from the government alone. We also have the support of the private sector in order to ensure that the citizens do not suffer during the current pandemic period”.
