All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, has congratulated the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt (Hon) Femi Gbajabiamila, and the three Senators from the state, Senators Oluremi Tinubu, Solomon Adeola and Tokunbo Abiru on their appointment as GAC members.

APC, in a statement issued on Wednesday by its State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Seye Oladejo, said the appointment was in recognition of the years of notable and commendable contributions of the federal lawmakers to the socio-economic and political development of the state in particular and Nigeria at large.

The party stated further that the appointment provides the lawmakers another platform to continue to provide flawless and experienced leadership to the country’s democratic growth.

” The Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress has congratulated newly appointed members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).

” The new members are the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and the three senators representing Lagos State at the upper chamber, Senators Oluremi Tinubu, Solomon Adeola and Tokunbo Abiru”, said Lagos APC.

” The appointment is in recognition of their years of notable and commendable contributions to the socio-economic and political development of our state in particular and the nation as a whole.

” The appointment provides another platform to continue to provide flawless and experienced leadership to our democratic growth. We wish them success in all their endeavors”, said Lagos APC.

Recall that the Governor’s Advisory Council ( GAC), the highest decision making body in Lagos APC, met yesterday at old Governor’s House, at Marina, Lagos Island to discuss matters relating local government elections.

It was gathered that the powerful body in their meeting appointed Gbajabiamila, Tinubu, Adeola and Abiru as new members. A political development, analysts argued would enhance all-inclusive party decisions ahead of 2023 general elections since any decision taken by the body is final and binding on members of the APC in Lagos.
