Information reaching Citizen NewsNG Newsroom says a Former Minister for Women Affairs, Sen. Aisha Jummai
Al-Hassan also known as Mama Taraba has passed on.
Citizen NewsNG reliably gathered that she died in Cairo, Egypt.
She was born on the 16 September 1959 in Jalingo, the Present day Taraba State.
Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan was a Trained lawyer who became the first female to be appointed Taraba State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice.
She was also the first woman to be appointed as Secretary FCT judicial council and later appointed the Chief Registrar of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on 17 December 2003.
Al-Hassan, was the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State in 2015.
As at the Time of filing in this news item, the cause of her death is unknown.
