The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, Prince Dr
Ifalade Oyekan has been named the Security image maker for the year 2022 by Supreme Media International.
According to the organisers of the Award, Supreme Media International, LNSA, in recent time, is the law enforcement agency that people love to see and interact with due to the civility of its officers and effective service delivery.
The publisher of Supreme Media International Magazine, Mr. Friday Etim John and organizers of the Award said, the total turn around orchestrated by Prince Oyekan was commendable, hence his choice for the
award by the judges.
Reacting to the award, the General Manager, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan dedicated the
Award to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the
officials of the Agency.
Oyekan said Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has turned around the LNSC from just a
uniform wearing agency into an effective and efficient safety and security
outfit, capable of ensuring safety in Lagos state while collaborating with
others, especially the people.
In his words, “without the vision, direction and support of Mr Governor, we
couldn’t have done this much. So, it is just natural to dedicate this Award to
him and members of his team for their constant guidance and support which has
taken us this far. We want to do more.”
The General Manager also thanked members of staff of the Agency for their
immense contribution to the good stories about the agency, while urging them to
aim higher and do more.
In his address, the guest speaker Mr. Matthew Ibadin opined that people don’t like those that enforce the law and without them the country will be in chaos, warning that people should be conscious of what they post on the social media as any negative post discourage investors. “when you criticize, you proffered solutions” said he.
Among the dignitaries present at the occasion were Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, Chairman Lagos State Football Association, Police CSP Oluwatoyin Elizabeth Opadola, DPO Alausa, Mr Apena Biliaminu Provost Marshal and Head Monitoring and Surveillance unit, LASTMA Hqts, Honourable Princess Omolara Oyekan Olumegbon APC candidate for Lagos State House of Assembly, Lagos Island constituency 1, Mr. Matthew Ibadin, Chairman Badinson Security, Bishop Caleb and Prof. Bukola Atolagbe (Power House Chapel).
