A Veteran Security Expert and Chief Executive Officer of Safety Signatures Limited, Dr. (Mrs) Cynthia Gregg has again been awarded the 2022 UNIBEN Alumni Award Of Excellence amidst encomiums from former course mates and guests.
Dr. Gregg and fourteen other Awardees were presented with the Awards of Excellence by the Lagos State Chapter of the University of Benin Alumni Association (UBAA) at the Sheraton Hotel, Lagos on Sunday 4th December, 2022.
While Speaking with Citizen NewsNG, Dr. Gregg said, “it’s a new responsibility to do more for Mankind and the industry. “I’m inspired as each day passes, I have plans to introduce modern techniques and redefine the private security architecture in the country.
Dr. Gregg eulogised the leadership of the University of Benin Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lilian Salami in the transformation of the citadel of learning.
She however, called for more execution of infrastructural Projects at the Ekenwan campus.
Dr. Gregg expressed appreciation to his husband, family members and staff for their Supports and words of encouragement. She also thanked the Uniben Alumni Association 2022 Award of Excellence Local Planning Committee.
“I could not have another husband like you: Thank you for Support, encouragement and for being a good husband”, Dr. Gregg eulogised.
Dr. Gregg pledged to contribute to the development of the University and the Department of Theatre Arts in her quest to make Uniben a first choice in the country and beyond.
She also announced Cash Prizes for the Best graduating students in the category First, Second and Third Positions.
Citizen NewsNG checks reveals that, Over the years, Dr. Gregg has made significant contributions to the development of the private security industry in Nigeria. Her wealth of experience and expertise is second to none, as such the Award is well deserved.
She has also contributed immensely to human capital Development across Nigeria through massive employment and empowerment of the Vulnerable.
In the last three years, Dr.Gregg has been honoured with different Awards for her exemplary leadership, resourcefulness and contribution to the development of Nigeria.
Few of the Awards were Citizen Leadership Excellence Award, The Nigeria institute of Industrial Security Fellowship Award among others.
The Awardees include Dr. (Mrs.) Cynthia Gregg, Mr. Wole Adeniyi, Mr. Henry Oroh, Dr. Gabriel Ogboche, Engr. Kayode Akode, Mr. Wole Abu, Engr. Olatunji Akinwunmi, Mrs. Rita Michael Ojo, Mr. Victor Onyekpa, Mr. Augustine Okwah, Mr. Mike Igini, Pharm. Henry Chunuba, Dr. Mrs. Orode Doherty, Pharm. (Mrs.) Gloria Ukwuloma and Pharm. (Mrs) Josephine Ehimen.
