Thousands of Lagos Island Residents, Business Men and Women and Artisans across the Ten(10) Political wards have declared unflinching Support for the Re-election bid of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives Candidate, Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru on Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1 in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Speaking with Journalists on behalf of the residents in Downtown Lagos, the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman,
Alh. Abu Elemoro said residents across the council area have resolved to come out in large numbers to cast their votes for Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru.
Alh. Abu described Dr. Badru as a Core Progressive, Philanthropist and Humanitarian.
“He places the well-being of the residents at heart”.
“Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru’s Outstanding records and Achievements are unmatched”.
“He has empowered a large number of residents with skill acquisition trainings, work tools and grants”, Alh. Elemoro stated.
“We have embarked on House-to-House Campaign for Dr. Badru to solicit votes for him”.
“This time, he will get more votes from the Constituents because of his (Dr. Badru) good works”, Alh. Elemoro concluded .
A resident, Mr. Abdulraheem Jamiu urged the residents to vote for Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru.
“Dr. Badru is an Advocate of good Governance: he has lifted and rekindled hope of the Less-Priviledged on Lagos Island Local Government Area and beyond”, Jamiu eulogised.
On her Part, the Founder of Lagos Island Artisans Association, Mrs. Abari-Ajibola Surat Olaribigbe said: “Dr Enitan Dolapo Badru is a Grassroot Man. He understands the needs of the People. On several occasions, He has supported and empowered our Members with Skill Acquisition Trainings to enable them Catchup with new Techniques On The Job”
“He has also distributed equipment such as Sewing Machines, Hair-Dryers, Pepper Grinding Machines, Power Generator Sets, Deep Freezers and other work Tools to Artisans”, She continued
Speaking further, Mrs.Abari-Ajibola recalled that few months ago, Dr. Badru gave One Hundred Thousand (N100,000) Cash gifts to some of the Artisans to Support their Businesses.
“The Artisans on Lagos Island Local Government Area have resolved to reciprocate the kind gestures of Dr. Badru through our support and vote for him”.
She however urged the Federal Lawmaker to continue the Economic Empowerment Programme.
A Petty Trader on Nnamdi Azikwe street, simply identified as Madam Mojisola expressed Business Men and Women’s readiness to cast their votes for the federal Lawmaker.
“Hon.Enitan Dolapo Badru has been supportive; He has presented grants to a quiite number of
Traders in this local government area Irrespective of political affiliations, Ethnicity or Religion. He does not Discriminate”, Mojisola said.
“We will Mobilise our members to vote for him so that he can continue the good work he has been doing”, she concluded.
