As Nigerians and the World await the announcement of the Winner of the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Some Lagos Island Residents and Supporters of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have hit the streets to celebrate in anticipation, Citizen NewsNG reports.

At about 10:23 p.m, Citizen NewsNG saw Thousands of Young Adults and Party faithfuls marched and sang solidarity songs on major streets on Lagos Island Local Government Area.

The mammoth crowd walked through Nnamdi Azikwe, Bamgbose, Alli, Massey, Igbosere, Tokunbo and Freeman Streets.

While some were brandishing Brooms, the Symbol of the APC, others displayed different sizes of banners of Tinubu and the Vice Presidential Candidate, Kashim Shettima.

Speaking with Citizen NewsNG, A Resident, simply identified as Muritala said he was optimistic about the victory of Tinubu at the Poll.

“As you can see, We are celebrating Asiwaju.
If you do a critical study of the election results announced so far by the INEC, APC and Tinubu’s Victory is Certain”, Jayeola, A Member of the APC boasted.

According to the results declared so far by INEC, the APC Candidate, Tinubu is leading with 8,794,491 Votes while the People’s Democratic Party Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has 6,984,290 Votes, Peter Obi of Labour Party 6,093,962 and Rabiu Kwankwaso 1,496,671.

Citizen NewsNG gathered further that INEC has declared Presidential Election Results in Twenty-eight (28) States.

Tinubu is projected to win the Presidential Election having scored the highest number of Votes(with wide margin).
