Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru Mobilizes Igbo Community In Lagos For Sanwo-Olu Ahead Of Guber Poll | Citizen NewsNG | By Olabode Adeyeri • We’ll Deliver Over 80% Votes For Governor, Other APC Candidates – says Ndigbo

 

In his unrelenting effort to ensure resounding electoral victory for all the Candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of Saturday’s Governorship Election, Honourable Member Of The Federal House of Representatives, Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1, Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru assembled Igbo Community on Lagos Island Local Government Area to solicit votes and emphasis on the need to Re-elect the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and House of Assembly Candidates across the State.

While addressing the gathering, Dr. Badru outlined the Achievements of Gov. Sanwo-olu since he assumed office as the number one Citizen of the state.

He urged the Igbo Community to shun divisive Politics and embrace the spirit of Brotherliness.

“On Saturday, Please, Come out in large numbers to cast your vote for Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu and all the House of Assembly Candidates”, Dr. Badru said.

“We are Brothers and Sisters in Progress. Together, Let us continue to move Lagos forward so that your Businesses and Investments would continue to thrive” Dr. Badru charged.

“As an Individual, I believe in the Unity of Nigeria and the Lagos Project. therefore, Let us Join hands to ensure that Governor Sanwo-Olu is Re-Elected so that we will continue to witness Progressive Governance and enjoy the dividends of democracy”, Dr. Badru continued.

“The Governor Sanwo-Olu I know is a Man of Honour, Integrity and vast Experience. He is the Best Man for the Job. He has done it before and he will do more”, the federal Lawmaker stated.

Dr. Badru said that the Unprecedented Achievements of Mr. Sanwo-Olu has endeared him to the hearts of Lagos residents and people across the country.

Speaking on behalf of the Ndigbo, The Chairman of Igbo Community on Lagos Island, Mr. Kenneth Uzoewuru ( Popularly known as Omolomo Ndigbo) said that he has embarked on Grassroot Mobilisation and Contact across the Island to seek votes for Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu and the APC Candidates.

“On Lagos Island, Our People have resolved to support and vote for Sanwo-Olu because he has performed beyond expectations”, Mr. Uzoewuru said.

“Governor Sanwo-Olu has delivered in every Sector. He has built more road Networks Infrastructure, Provided Tuition free Education, Empowered the Youths, Refurbished State Hospitals with State-of-the-art Medical Equipment”.

Mr. Uzoewuru stated further that the Lagos State Government’s Integrated Multi-Modal Transportation system is highly Commendable.

“The Rail project running from Marina through Mile 2/Okokomaiko/Ojo will make daily trip more convenient and reduce travel time. The Bus Rapid Transit scheme has refined transportation in the state”. He emphasized.

Mr. Uzoewuru advised his Kinsmen against making the wrong choice on Saturday.

According to Mr. Uzoewuru, the Igbo People stand to benefit more from Governor Sanwo-Olu when he is Re-Elected.

“The Ndigbo will deliver over 80% Votes for Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu and other APC Candidates on Saturday by God’s grace”, Mr. Uzoewuru Pledged.

He also urged the Yoruba and Hausa residents to vote for Sanwo-Olu.

An Igbo Businessman, Chief Ifeanyichukwu Patrick Okorie declared support for Sanwo-olu ahead of the Saturday’s Governorship Election.

Chief Okorie said: “I trust Sanwo-Olu’s Capacity: his track record, Achievements and Personality will earn him Victory at the Poll.
My Family Members and I will vote for him”

On her Part, Miss Chioma Nwosu said Lagos State under the Progressive Leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu has witnessed a significant socioeconomic Development.

“I am a Product of Lagos and its Success Story. I was born here and I have benefited from the Good Works of the State Government. For this reason and many more, I will Campaign and Vote for Sanwo-olu”, Miss Nwosu concluded.
