Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru, Honourable Member Of The Federal House Of Representatives, Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1 and Chairman, House Committee on Industry Congratulates the Lagos State Governor,
Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his Electoral Victory in the March 18, 2023 Gubernatorial election.
In a Press Statement, Dr. Badru said that Sanwo-Olu’s Re-Election is a Reward for his Outstanding Performance in his first term.
“Sanwo-Olu’s victory is Well Deserved. He won with a wide margin. a confirmation that he is the People’s choice”.
The Foremost Lagos Federal Lawmaker stated further that the Lagos Governor has distinguished himself among his counterparts in the country.
“With the THEMES Agenda of Sanwo-Olu’s Administration, A Greater Lagos Is Rising, indeed”, He eulogised.
Dr. Badru however reiterated his commitment to advocate Special status for Lagos at the Green Chamber.
Sanwo-Olu polled a total of 762,134 votes to defeat Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party who scored 312,329 votes, followed by Abdul-Azeez Adediran (aka Jandor) with 62,449 votes.
He was declared the Winner at 1:15 am on Monday morning, almost 48 hours after the electoral exercise commenced.
Following an official declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Residents from different parts of Lagos trooped to the State House in the early hours to celebrate with the Governor.
