As part of his Economic Intervention Programme, the Supervisor for Chieftancy Affairs, Lagos Island Local Government,
Hon. Moshood Eletu gifted cash support running into thousands of Naira to Scores of Petty Traders on Lagos Island Local Government Area fortnight ago.
During the presentation, Hon. Eletu said the gesture was to lessen the financial burden of small and medium size Businesses and promote local economy.
“This is to further appreciate the supports of the Traders and Businessmen on Lagos Island for the Candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC): Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun, Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru, Hon. Lara Oyekan-Olumegbon and others during the last 2023 general elections”, Hon. said.
Speaking further, he stated that a vibrant economy is the pivotal force for national development.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs Atere expressed appreciation for the kind gesture. She also prayed for Hon. Eletu.
A representative of the youths, Lateef Agbaje enjoined Hon. Eletu to continue his good deeds.
He however urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the financial aid to expand their Businesses.
