A Lagos wigmaker, Helen Williams, has become the Guinness World Record holder for the longest handmade wig.

She achieved this new record after making a wig by hand stretches as long as 351.28 metres (1,152 ft 5 in).

The Guinness World Records disclosed this on Tuesday, November 14 on its X handle.

Sharing a video, the caption reads: “Helen Williams from Lagos, Nigeria has achieved a new record for the longest handmade wig which stretches an incredible 351.28 metres (1,152 ft 5 in) 👏 ”
