Gulf Flower Schools Hold InterHouse Sport Competition In Lagos • As District 2 Education Boss Lauds Director, Dr. Cynthia Gregg • Green House Clinches First Position | Citizen NewsNG

The Gulf Flower Schools held its 8th Edition of InterHouse Sport Competition on Friday 8 March, 2024 at the Papa Playground, Oworoshoki, Lagos, Southwest, Nigeria.

Students from the Primary and Secondary Schools participated in the Sporting Event with
a total of four (4) Houses, namely: Blue, Red, Green and Yellow. It witnessed large turnout.

While speaking with Journalists, the Director of Gulf Flower Schools, Dr. Cynthia Gregg said the Annual InterHouse Sports Competition was organised to promote Grassroot Sports Development, Healthy Competition, Talent Hunting and Physical-Mental Wellbeing of the students.

She however charged the students to concentrate on their studies and work harder to achieve excellent results.

Dr. Gregg reiterated the Citadel of learning’s commitment to Qualitative Education and raising Future Leaders.

In her remark, the Coordinating Director of Education, District 2 [Office of Education Quality Assurance, OEQA], Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mrs. Folushade Sofola commended the Founder, Dr. Cynthia Gregg and School Management for sustaining and building on the Standard of the Institution.

On his part, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Fayoade Adegoke urged the students to engage in regular Physical exercise and shun social vices that could dampen their dreams and aspirations.

The Participating Students engaged in Relay Race, High Jump, Long Jumb and Tug of War.

At the end of the Competition, the Green House emerged First, Blue Second, Red Third. The Yellow house clinched first Position in Match Pass.

Dignitaries Present at the event were the Director of Gulf Flower Schools, Dr. Cynthia Gregg, Lagos Police Commissioner, Fayoade Adegoke, NSCDC State Commandant, CC Adedotun Keshinro, Oba of Oloworo Kingdom, HRH Baba Saliu, Out of Igarra Kingdom, HRH Aliu Suleiman Ogbodo, Coordinating Director of Education, District 2 [Office of Education Quality Assurance, OEQA], Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mrs. Folushade Sofola and Convener, Fearless Cup, Mrs. Renda Udan.
