In his renewed effort to lessen the effects of Economic Hardship in the country, Honourable Member Of The Federal House Of Representatives, Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1,
Dr. Enitan Dolapo Badru has distributed 2,000, 10Kg Bags of Rice to residents of Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1 on Monday 8, April, 2024 at the Council Secretariat, Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos.
Constituents were also gifted N10,000 Cash Gift each.
As part of his human Capital Development Initiatives, Dr. Badru also presented Laptop Computers to Youths and other constituents trained in Information Communication Technology.
In his Speech, Dr. Badru reiterated his commitment to Qualitative Representation, People’s Welfare and Community Development.
He said: “This is a fraction of the Socioeconomic Empowerment Intervention. In the next few Months,
we shall rollout Mega Human Capital Development Programmes aimed at improving residents’ Standard Of Living”.
“In the next batch, I would disburse grants Worth Millions Of Naira to constituents across Lagos Island Federal Constituency 1”.
“There are more People-centric Programmes and other Welfare Packages for you”, He told the gathering.
“My Record of Achievements speak for me. I love my People and their Welfare is paramount me’.
‘I urge Nigerians to pray and support President Bola Tinubu as he leads the country to new heights amidst Socioeconomic challenges”. Dr. Badru concluded.
The Deputy State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. Moshood Mayegun described Dr. Badru as an Outstanding and Record breaking Federal Legislator whose Landmark Achievements have set new Standard for Qualitative Representation.
On his part, the Lagos Island Local Government Area APC Chairman, Alh. Ganiu Sadiq said Dr. Badru is a Silent Achiever.
“Hon. Dolapo Badru has executed numerous Laudable Empowerment Programmes”.
” Indeed, He is consistently delivering dividends of Democracy to the Constituents”, Alh. Sadiq stated.
Alhaja Wosilat Jaji, a resident of Olowogbowo Quarters who received a Bag of Rice and Cash gift showered encomium on Dr. Badru for his Philanthropic activities and unmatched Achievements.
She stated: “Dolapo Badru is an Angel on Earth. A Godsent Man that helps People regardless of Ethnicity or Religion”.
A Physically Challenged Woman, Mrs Taofeekat Owokoniran, expressed joy over continuous support she received from the Frontline Federal Lawmaker.
According to her, Dr. Badru is a friend to both the Less-Priviledged and High Network Individuals in the society.
Mr. Sadiq Maliq from Pelewura, Isale Eko Community extolled the virtues of Dr. Badru. He restated his support for him.
The Event witnessed large turnout of Party Chieftains, Council Chairmen, Residents, Community Leaders, Community Development Associations, Traders, Artisans, Youths, Physically Challenged Persons among others.
