Nigerian singer Skales has opened up about his romantic encounters, revealing that he has been involved with over 100 women.
In an interview with Sheye Banks, Skales drew a comparison between his own experiences and the biblical figure King Solomon, known for his multitude of wives and concubines, Skales hinted that if he were not married, he might have pursued a similar path.
“I’ve dated about 100 women or so. If I wasn’t married I would probably be on the King Solomon path.
“Let me explain. I’m in a different situation right now but back then I just couldn’t get enough of women.
Women are endless, you know? You keep going to the streets and you see women everywhere bro. As at then, I would have been like King Solomon. You know he had like so many wives and how many concubines. This guy used to travel and take ships to meet these women.”
Reflecting on his past behavior, Skales acknowledged the consequences of his youthful fame and easy access to women, which led him to make immature choices that resulted in the loss of meaningful relationships.
He admitted that during his earlier years, he couldn’t resist the temptation of pursuing multiple relationships due to the allure of the opposite sex.
He said, “I did a lot of childish things back then. What do you expect from a teenager that had a lot of fame and lots of access to women? There are a lot of good women that I lost because of my childish mentality or behaviour and stuff like that. I’m becoming a better man now.
