Governor Francis Nwifuru has redeployed three commissioners in a minor cabinet reshuffle and issued a six-month performance ultimatum to the Commissioners for Environment and Tertiary Education.

The State Executive Council also approved the 2026–2028 Medium Term Expenditure Framework, a 3MW power plant at ICT University, and participation in the federal E-HEART project. Additionally, Ebonyi endorsed its 2024 Business Reform Plan to meet World Bank SABER eligibility for 2025.
