A Federal High Court in Ilorin has sentenced gospel singer Moses Otitoju and eight others for cybercrime and fraud-related offences. Otitoju received six months in prison without the option of a fine for retaining N8.4m in illegal funds.
Others convicted include Ayodele Joseph, Adeoye Joseph, and Abubakar Aliyu, who received similar sentences and forfeited cash and devices to the government. Additional convictions were secured at the Kwara State High Court, with some convicts given options of fines and restitution orders.
