The US has issued a Level 3 travel advisory for Nigeria, citing widespread insecurity, poor healthcare, and high risks of kidnapping and violence.
Eighteen states, including Borno, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Rivers (excluding Port Harcourt), were flagged as extremely dangerous.
The advisory warns that all parts of Nigeria carry significant security risks and urges US citizens to avoid high-risk areas and remain alert.
