Veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Olusegun Akinremi, with the stage name Chief Kanran, has passed on.

He died on Friday morning at the age of 72.

It was confirmed by a prolific filmmaker, Seun Oloketuyi in an Instagram post.

Details on the cause of Akinremi’s death were unknown at the time of filing this report.
