The Federal High Court in Abuja has stopped the PDP from holding its national convention scheduled for November 15–16 in Ibadan, citing breaches of its constitution and INEC guidelines.

Justice James Omotosho ruled that the party failed to conduct valid state congresses and ordered it to issue a fresh 21-day notice before proceeding.
