The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has dismissed 10 Nigeria Immigration Service officers and sanctioned 21 others for various offences, including misconduct, conspiracy, and illegal possession of firearms.

NIS spokesperson Akinlabi Akinsola said the action, approved by Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, underscores the board’s commitment to discipline and accountability.
