Portable
Portable, the controversial singer, has been captured in a viral video fighting on stage at an Easter show in the Agbado area of Lagos.
In the footage, the singer, clad in a white sweatshirt and carrying a school bag, is seen having a heated exchange with some young men believed to be area residents who had stopped him from performing at the event.
He was heard aggressively questioning why he was being stopped, while also claiming that one of the youths had pinched him.
Several people, including a man in a soldier’s outfit, were seen trying to bring the situation under control.
However, the tension escalated, prompting Portable to remove his clothes to confront those disrupting his performance. The reason for the interruption remains unclear.
The event, tagged ‘Alagbado Easter Fiesta’, also featured performances from several Afrobeats singers, including Fola, Zinoleesky, D’banj, and Fuji musician Malaika.
Portable, who rose to fame with his 2021 hit Zazoo Zeh, a collaboration with Olamide and dancer Poco Lee, is known for his frequent controversies, confrontations, and alleged assaults.
In October 2025, the singer was involved in a physical altercation at the Port Harcourt airport, with security personnel scrambling to restrain him and prevent the situation from escalating.
