The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has released the list of candidates who emerged victorious in its House of Representatives and State House of Assembly primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Monday, May 25, 2026, by the Lagos State APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi.
According to the party, 24 candidates secured tickets for the House of Representatives, while 40 aspirants emerged as flag bearers for the Lagos State House of Assembly.
In the House of Representatives primaries, James Abiodun Faleke clinched the ticket for Ikeja Federal Constituency, while Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa emerged for Agege Federal Constituency.
Babajimi Benson secured the ticket for Ikorodu Federal Constituency, joining a list of returning and emerging political figures across the state.
Other winners include Muftau Egberongbe for Apapa, Moses Olanrewaju for Amuwo-Odofin, Adeyemi Alli for Mushin I, and Moses Oluwatosin Fayinka for Mushin II.
Fuad Kayode Laguda emerged for Surulere I, while Lanre Okunnola won Surulere II. Fuad Atanda-Lawal secured the Eti-Osa ticket.
Olabisi Adebanjo emerged as the only female winner among the 24 House of Representatives candidates, clinching the Alimosho Federal Constituency ticket.
Other notable winners include Adebayo Balogun for Ibeju-Lekki, Taiwo Aiyedun for Oshodi-Isolo I, Segun Adeniran Onilude for Badagry, and Wale Raji for Epe.
Adekunle Omolaja also secured the Lagos Mainland ticket after a keenly contested primary.
For the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda emerged as the candidate for Apapa Constituency I, while Musibau Lawal secured Apapa II.
Barakat Bakare-Odunuga won Surulere I, with Damilola Ayinde-Marshall emerging for Surulere II.
Other winners include Saheed Bankole for Eti-Osa I, Gbolahan Yishawu for Eti-Osa II, and Mayowa Alakija for Oshodi-Isolo II.
In Ikorodu, Toyin Gafar and Moshood Aro emerged for Constituencies I and II respectively, while Orekoya Abiodun and Moruf Alli-Balogun won Somolu I and II.
Temitope Adedeji Adewale and Rasheed Lanre Makinde secured tickets for Ifako-Ijaiye I and II, while Oluwaseun Adebisi Ege and Suraju Tijani emerged for Ojo I and II.
The Lagos APC stated that the exercise was concluded successfully across constituencies, producing candidates who will represent the party in the 2027 general elections.
The party leadership urged all aspirants to support the chosen candidates to strengthen unity ahead of the polls.
