The Nigerian naira appreciated against the United States (US) dollar, trading at the rate of N1,356.2704 at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) official foreign exchange (FX) window on Monday, 15th June, 2026.

The data shared on the CBN’s official platform shows that the naira traded at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate of N1,356.2704 per dollar and closed at N1,356.0000 per dollar.

The currency, which traded at an NFEM rate of N1,363.8250 on 11th of June, 2026, has appreciated significantly by at least N7.55 when compared with Monday’s trading rate.

At the parallel market, the naira-to-dollar buying rate appreciated by N4, while the selling rate appreciated by N5 when compared to the previous trading rate on 10th June, 2026.

According to Aboki FX , the Naira-to-dollar exchange rate at the black market on Monday, 15th June, 2026, was N1,393 per dollar for the buying rate and N1,400 per dollar for the selling rate.
