INEC says 1,565,873 Nigerians have registered in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise within seven weeks, with Kano recording the highest number of new registrants.

Women accounted for 52.45% of registrations, while youths aged 18–34 formed the largest group.
