Nollywood actress and beauty queen Tenia Abraham has died at the age of 32 following a reported battle with a kidney infection.

Abraham was buried at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja on Saturday, October 17, 2026, according to an obituary shared on her Instagram page.

Her family announced her death on TikTok on Thursday, October 15, describing her as a vibrant talent and a loving daughter, sister and friend.

“With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Nollywood actress, a vibrant talent, a loving daughter, sister and friend,” the family said in the statement.

The family attributed her death to a kidney infection.

According to the obituary, Abraham, whose full name was given as Tenia Abraham Omenogor, died on October 13, 2026.

The burial arrangements indicated that family members, friends and well-wishers were expected to gather at the mortuary of the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, Abuja, at 9 a.m. before the burial scheduled for 10 a.m.

In a tribute, the family described the late actress as a gifted talent whose life and work touched many people.

“She lived with passion, touched many lives with her talent and left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten,” the obituary stated.

The family added that although she was gone, her talent, beauty and kindness would remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

“Your light may have gone out from this world, but your talent, beauty and kindness will forever live in our hearts,” the tribute read.

Following the announcement of her death, an August social media post in which Abraham reflected on mortality and encouraged people to show love to one another resurfaced online.

“One day we will leave this world. Let’s love lead,” she wrote in the post.

The message drew renewed attention following news of her passing, with followers reflecting on its meaning in the wake of her death.

Beyond acting, Abraham was involved in beauty pageants and held the title of Beauty Queen South South 2020.

Her death marks a loss for her family, friends and admirers who followed her work in the entertainment and beauty industries.
