It is female Genital mutilation without anesthesia and this intervention is irreversible.

THREE TYPES OF EXCISION:
The first clitoridectomy which is the removal of the outer part of the clitoris.

The second also called Clitoridectomy but accompanied by suture or ablation of the labia minora.

The third is the suturing of the labia majora and in some countries it is performed with previously unsterilized spines that can cause complications.

WHY EXCISION?
It is a way for men to control women’s sexuality, excised women enjoy no sexual pleasure.

In some African countries on wedding night the groom with a blade opens the sewn part just before sexual intercourse.

The consequences of excision are enormous and some girls leave their lives there (sudden death)

NB: Excision is practiced in 29 Countries in Africa, the Middle East and some Communities in Asia.

Many Organizations campaign for its Global abolition.

More than 200 million Women have been circumcised Worldwide, of which 44 million are Girls under 15 years of age.
