Benue State Internal Revenue Service (BIRS) in continuance of its drive to sanitize the Benue Tax system, today arrested a fraudster for duplicating fake Point of Sales (POS) receipts.
The culprit, Mr. Terfa Beeku alias Bank Alert, was arrested In Lessel, Ushongo Local Government Area with several duplicate POS receipts.
He has since been handed over to the police and is awaiting trial and prosecution.
Meanwhile the Executive Chairman, Mr. Andrew Ayabam has vowed that the Board will not rest on its resolve till sanity is achieved.
