A video showing a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Local Government Inspector threatening some corps members including a nurisng mother with a cane in Rivers State has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the NYSC Official backed his threat by saying it’s a sin for one to provoke their seniors to anger. He added that corps members should always “move” when he is talking because if they don’t he will flog them.
He was heard saying;
“We can’t capture you, go and sit down, when we finish with the others, we will capture you.
Leave this place now. And please gentleman Corp members, don’t provoke me, it is a sin, even in the holy scripture to provoke your seniors”.
The identity of the NYSC official in-charge of Ikwerre Local Government area was not immediately available.
