A man identified simply as Obus stabbed his friend to death during a fight in Osubi, a town close to Warri in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta state.

The deceased identified as mudiaga and his friend went to a joint to hang out. After having a lot of drinks, the deceased and his friend had a argument which resulted into a fight.
According to a eyewitness, Obus break a bottle and stab his friend, Mudiaga on the neck.

Residents of the area rushed Mudiaga to the hospital where he was Confirmed dead by the doctors.
It was gathered that though Obus and Mudiaga were friends but they belong to two different cult groups.
The death of Mudiaga has caused cult war in the area, his Cult group is looking for obus Cult group members to retaliate.

The suspected murderer who is a civil engineer is now on the run, both the police and the rival cult group are looking for him.
The deceased’s cult members storm the joint where he was killed and destroy all valuables in the place.
