Portable has revealed the killers of Naira Marley’s former label member, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Alobapopularly known as Mohbad.
In a video, Habeeb Olalomi a.k.a Portable said Mohbad was a traitor who was killed by the opponents of Naira Marley.
Late Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, in controversial circumstances. After his death, some Nigerians on social media accused his former label boss, Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry of bullying the 27-year-old singer to death. Several videos suggesting the deceased was bullied by Naira Marley’s associates and Sam Larry surfaced online. The public outcry led to the police launching a full-scale investigation. Naira Marley and Sam Larry are currently in police custody.
In a video posted on social media, Portable alleged that Naira Marley is innocent of Mohbad’s death and that the artist died as a result of betraying Naira Marley. He claimed that it was Naira Marley’s opponents whom Mohbad was hanging out with after leaving Marlian music label, that killed the deceased singer.
According to him, there was no way Naira Marley could have killed Mohbad after helping to bring him to the limelight and grow his career.
He went on to pray that God vindicates Naira Marley, adding that he is a helper.
“It was Naira Marley’s opponents that killed Mohbad because he was a traitor. He was chilling with Naira Marley’s opponents, that’s why they killed him. Don’t be so bad in case you want to see it tomorrow. Naira Marley is innocent; he was implicated. But God will save him because he is a helper.
The death that killed Mohbad is the death of a traitor. The music industry is casted. What I don’t want to say, I will say it now. They roped in Naira Marley and Marlian music.
When Mohbad had a problem with Marlians, he said they did not like him. Who doesn’t like him? Who doesn’t love you? Someone who built you later doesn’t love you? He left and ran to Marlians haters and enemies and started rolling with them. You should know the people I’m talking about.” he said
