In a disturbing incident in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State, a 17-year-old boy, Lawali Mori, has been apprehended by the police for engaging in unlawful sexual activity with a chicken. The incident took place on a 1.6km long bridge away from the Jimeta area of the state capital, Yola.
During a press conference held on Friday, the police referred to this act as an unnatural offense. The arrest was made following a complaint lodged by Esther Dimas, a resident of the area where the offense occurred.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, released a statement stating that the complainant caught the teenage suspect in the act. The statement further revealed that Lawali Mori, a resident of Viniklang, confessed to sexually assaulting the chicken. However, he was unable to provide any reasons for his behavior.
In response to this incident, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola, has ordered a discreet investigation into the matter.
