Pa Adedapo Idowu

Adedapo Idowu, a 94-year-old man, has made headlines by registering for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). His goal is to study Political Science at the University of Ibadan, fulfilling a long-held aspiration.

Idowu registered at the JAMB Professional Test Center in Ibadan, Oyo State. Despite initial fears about pursuing higher education at his age, he was encouraged by the seamless registration process.

With over 700,000 candidates registered, including 11,000 underage applicants, Idowu’s story is an inspiration. He advises fellow candidates to embrace professionalism and contentment in their academic journey.

“I can now attain my dream at an advanced age,” he said, grateful for the warm reception he received during registration.
