A mother and her child died on the spot Thursday after a trailer with brake failure crashed into a commercial bus at Ulasi River Bridge, Okija Junction, Anambra State.

Several passengers were injured and rushed to hospital, while eyewitnesses blamed the crash on touts blocking the road for revenue collection.
