Delta State University, Abraka, has rusticated 200-level Biotechnology student Ezi Ugoma for four semesters after she filmed and posted a video of a dying student on TikTok, violating university conduct rules.

She can resume studies in the 2027/2028 session. The decision drew criticism from journalist Oseni Rufai, who called for the suspension to be overturned.
