The Federal Government has increased peculiar allowances and welfare packages for civil servants, while introducing a new retirement exit scheme under the Contributory Pension Scheme.

Head of Civil Service, Didi Walson-Jack, said the reforms also include full Duty Tour Allowance for training participants and wider salary-linked benefits across grade levels.
