The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, has placed a traditional spiritual curse on kidnappers, armed robbers, and other criminals operating in Edo State.

The spiritual exercise, led by priests, priestesses, traditional physicians, the Iwebo society, and Aiyelala, featured libation, ancestral invocations, and other traditional rites at the Oba’s Palace in Benin City, calling for justice against perpetrators of crime and their collaborators.
