Popular Nigerian artiste, David Adeleke ‘Davido’, has been prevented from getting access to Osun State for the governorship election.
The musician raised the alarm via his social media page that he has gotten information from reliable sources that soldiers will not allow him to have access to the state.
He expressed his displeasure about it and vowed to resist the moves to stop him from accessing the state.
“I’ve been reliably informed that Soldiers are trying to prevent me from entering Osun tomorrow; this won’t happen, every citizen of Nigeria has the right to movement at any point of time.”
However, this appears to be a lawful move because the Nigeria Police Force had warned that there will be restrictions on movement in the state from 12 am to 6 pm on election day.
The police stated that it is to ensure the safety of lives and property.
