A dispatch rider identified as Austin Ikenna Adiele has allegedly absconded with 35 grammes of gold valued at N7 million, which was entrusted to him for delivery to a customer in Lagos.
Adiele, who reportedly worked with Errand Boys Express Logistics at No. 5 Julius Nnamere Close, Igando, Lagos, allegedly collected the gold for delivery before disappearing and switching off his phone.
However, following police intervention, the suspect was reportedly traced to Surulere, Lagos, where he was last seen on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Efforts to locate him have reportedly proved unsuccessful, raising concerns about his whereabouts and the missing gold.
Members of the public with credible information about Adiele’s whereabouts or the missing gold are urged to contact 09064811051 or report to the nearest police station.
The public is advised not to confront or attempt to apprehend him, but to provide any useful information to the appropriate authorities.
