The City Boy Movement has officially announced the appointment of seasoned journalist Olabode Adeyeri as its new Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Lagos Island Chapter.

Adeyeri, who currently serves as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Hon. Prince Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan, will bring his extensive media experience and strategic communication background to the political support group.

The appointment comes as the City Boy Movement—a prominent political organization championing grassroots mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu—ramps up its structures and community engagement frameworks.

According to internal sources within the Lagos Island APC and the movement, Adeyeri’s appointment is aimed at driving clear, proactive public engagement and projecting the core vision of the group at the grassroots level.

Given his established role within the local government administration, media analysts note that Adeyeri is uniquely positioned to handle the movement’s public image.

He has previously spearheaded public relations service for major local government socio-economic development initiatives, ranging from government policy projection to high-profile political strategy, grassroots mobilisation and campaign.
