The City Boy Movement, a campaign group supporting the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima, has commenced grassroots mobilisation in Zamfara State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on Saturday at a gathering of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in Gusau, a member of the Governing Council of the City Boys Movement, Ahmad Abdulaziz Yari, said the group was mobilising support for the Tinubu-Shettima ticket.

Yari said the group believed that a second term for the President and Vice-President would, in its view, support further development across the country.

He urged APC supporters and other Nigerians to support the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“I urge APC supporters and all well-meaning Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s on his renewed hope agenda for the development of our country,” he said.

In his welcome address, the Zamfara State Chairman of the organising committee, Surajo Muhammad Birnin-Magaji, said the group would mobilise support for the APC across the state.

Also speaking, the Zamfara State Coordinator of Grassroots Mobilisers for Tinubu and Shettima 2027, Alhaji Muhammad Adamu, said the organisation would take its mobilisation campaign to communities across the state.

He said the group would focus on creating awareness at the grassroots about the policies and programmes of the Tinubu-Shettima administration and its campaign for re-election in 2027.

“Our organisation would take message to the grassroots, particularly communities where people require direct information about Tinubu and Shettima’s renewed hope agenda and why they should be re-elected,” he said.
