The PBAT-KOH Lagos Island Local Government Area (LGA) Campaign Council has officially appointed Olabode Adeyeri as its Director of Media and Publicity.

The decision follows the high-profile inauguration of the local campaign council led by the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Hon. Prince Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan, to drive intense grassroots mobilization ahead of the upcoming general elections.

Adeyeri’s appointment is strategic, coming at a time when the political campaign council is aligning its communications framework across Lagos State.

In his new capacity, Adeyeri will spearhead media operations, public relations, and narrative management to boost the visibility of the PBAT-KOH mandate at the grassroots level within Lagos Island.

Adeyeri currently serves as the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island LocalGovernment. He is also the Public Relations Officer for the City Boy Movement’s Lagos Island Chapter, giving him deep familiarity with the local political landscape and community engagement.

A seasoned journalist and public relations professional, He brings over a decade of media and corporate experience to the campaign team.

He is the Publisher of Citizen NewsNG and Citizen Magazine, and he previously held corporate roles at Globacom Nigeria Limited.

Adeyeri holds an undergraduate degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Master’s degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

The appointment comes right on the heels of the recent commissioning of the PBAT-KOH Lagos Central Senatorial District Campaign Office on John Harden Street, Lagos Island. The structure aims to secure widespread support and robust voter turnout for the All Progressives Congress (APC) tickets.

With the grassroots political campaign gaining momentum, Adeyeri is set to leverage his background in digital and traditional media to foster direct engagement with voters across all wards on the Island.
